Our first project in Peterborough is providing Yoga classes for Peterborough City Council's employees. It doesn't matter if You are beginning yoga adventure or You have been already practising yoga, these classes are for You. 

We will focus on Yoga postures (asanas), breathing technics, relaxation, meditation and mindfulness.

Yoga Asanas

  • Asanas rejuvenate the whole body. THey work primarily on the spine and  central nervous system. The spine gains in strenth and flexibility, and circulation is stimulated, bringing nutrients and oxygen to all the cells of the body. Asanas increase motion in the joints and flexibility in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. They massage internal organs, boosting their funcion.

Pranayama

  • Breathing technics - Pranayama - stimulates the energy reserves of the solar plexus, revitalizing body and mind. Regulationg the breath helps to store prana, laying down reserves of strength and vitality. Deep, conscious breathing helps to conquer depression and stress.

Relaxation

  • Deep relaxation works on three levels - physical, mental, and spiritual - and is the most natural way to re-energize body and mind.  Regular relaxation acts like a car's cooling system, keeping the engine from over-heating and ensuring the vehicle functions efficiently. During the deep relaxation at the end of a yoga session, the body uses only enough energy to maintain vital metabilic activities. The rest of the energy gained during the practice is stored.

Meditation and Mindfulness 

  • Positive thinking and meditation are yogic keys to peace of mind. Meditation  techniques calm the mind and enhance focus. REgular meditation promotes physical and spiritual, as well as mental, well-being. Before meditation, yoga practitioners clear mind of negative thoughts and feelings, using concentrations and positive-thinking exercises. 

 

Maybe You prefer to practise yoga at home, during one to one sessions? We can offer individual yoga well fitting to Your needs.

During individual sessions we will make a well being plan and the training will be focused on Your personal goals. We can focus on different aspects of yoga practise: asanas, meditation, Mindfulness, relaxation, breathing techniques or we can use all of them to create holistic programme for You.

Welcome in Yoga Centre Yogaart 

 

      We are very happy to share our passion with You, this was the reason to create Yoga Centre. Since 2010 we have bee providing yoga classes in Poland where we have created well prospering Yoga Centre (www.jogaart.com). Currently it is time to start yoga in Peterborough and the first project is Yoga for Peterborough City Council's staff. We offer a marvellous opportunity to develop the full potential of Your body and mind using Hatha yoga, Mindfulness, relaxation, breathing techniques as well as the modern knowledge of human body and mind. 

       I have started my Yoga adventure while travelling across the India. My first teacher was Dr Rao who was the head of Ayurvedic Clinic Centre - he has taught me Shivananda style yoga. Since then I have been practising yoga regularly discovering how useful yoga can be in day to day life - it improves well being, vitality, self awareness of the body, breath and mind. All mentioned benefits may cause addiction to Yoga :-)

     In Poland I was improving my skills under professional guidance of professor Janusz Szopa who is a forerunner of academic yoga at Academy of Physical Education in Katowice city. He has showed me how to connect classical Hatha yoga with achievements of modern science. 

    Constantly I am improving my knowledge about human anatomy, physiology, psychology and also about secrets of ancient yoga tradition. Thanks to Yoga practise and sharing my passion with You I get the most valuable treasure - I am knowing myself every day, gaining self awareness, emotional stability and happiness.
